4326 N California Ave Chicago, IL 60618
For those people that have toured a Montessori school, you may have heard about the ‘Practical Life’ activities that the children work on throughout the day and wondered why so much time is focused on them.
During this presentation, Emily Meizis and Margaret Combs will discuss why Practical Life activities are so important, what they look like in the classroom, and how they set the foundation for a child’s future learning. We will hit on topics such as building independence, concentration, and an overall positive relationship with work.
Please RSVP in Facebook so we know how many people to expect.
Childcare can be provided by reserving a spot via Messenger at least 2 days before the day of the event.
